Yazzie the Chef is a Diné chef from the Navajo Nation. His work is focused on revitalizing Indigenous cuisine with traditional ingredients from streams, rivers, and forests to bring together modern cooking techniques with traditional knowledge. Chef Yazzie promotes healthy eating and healing using traditional food. He shares his knowledge through cooking demonstrations and classes where he teaches Indigenous communities about how to prepare nutritious and traditional food.
